देश भर में भाषा और इसके उपयोग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए हर साल 14 सितंबर को हिंदी दिवस मनाया जाता है।भारत की स्वतंत्रता के बाद संविधान सभा ने 14 सितंबर 1949 को हिंदी को भारत की आधिकारिक भाषा के रूप में स्वीकार किया था | हिंदी भारतीय गणराज्य की 22 आधिकारिक भाषाओं में से एक है. इसके बाद से ही पहले प्रधानमंत्री पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू ने 14 सितंबर 1953 को हर साल हिंदी दिवस के रूप में मनाने का फैसला किया|

Teachers day celebration in PM SHRI KV NAHARA

India marks National Teachers’ Day on September 5th to remember the birth of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Radhakrishna was India’s second President and a lifelong educator.

The decision to observe Teachers' Day on September 5 was made in 1962 after Dr. Radhakrishnan had become the President of India. Some of his old students had come to pay their respects and requested him that his birthday be celebrated as a festival.

Instead of taking the credit Radhakrishnan asked them to use September 5th to show respect to all teachers across the country.

Before entering politics Radhakrishnan worked as a professor at Madras Presidency College, Mysore University, and Calcutta University. He also headed Andhra University and Banaras Hindu University.

Education according to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan goes beyond books and examinations. The information that is acquired outside books enables individuals to think independently, he says.

राष्ट्रीय खेल दिवस – मेजर ध्यानचंद जयंती

भारत में राष्ट्रीय खेल दिवस प्रत्येक वर्ष 29 अगस्त को महान हॉकी खिलाड़ी मेजर ध्यानचंद की जयंती के अवसर पर मनाया जाता है। यह दिन विद्यार्थियों में खेल भावना, अनुशासन, फिटनेस, टीमवर्क और स्वस्थ जीवनशैली को बढ़ावा देने का संदेश देता है। PM SHRI KV Nahara में मेजर ध्यानचंद की जयंती को राष्ट्रीय खेल दिवस के रूप में उत्साहपूर्वक मनाया गया |

मेजर ध्यानचंद – संक्षिप्त जीवन परिचय

मेजर ध्यानचंद का जन्म 29 अगस्त 1905 को इलाहाबाद (वर्तमान प्रयागराज) में हुआ था। वे भारतीय हॉकी के महानतम खिलाड़ियों में से एक थे। अपनी अद्भुत गेंद नियंत्रण क्षमता और गोल करने की कला के कारण उन्हें “हॉकी का जादूगर” कहा जाता था। उन्होंने भारतीय सेना में रहते हुए हॉकी में अपनी प्रतिभा को निखारा और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भारत का गौरव बढ़ाया।

आज 31 अक्टूबर को भारत की एकता के सुत्रधार कहे जाने वाले लौह पुरुष सरदार पटेल की 150व़ी जयंती है | लौह पुरुष राष्ट्रीय एकीकरण के शिल्पकार सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल के जयंती को राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस के रूप मे मनाता है| सरदार पटेल की जयंती के अवसर पर देश भर मई जगह जगह ' रन फॉर यूनिटी ' कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जाएगा |

सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल का जीवन परिचय

सरदार पटेल का जन्म 31 अक्टूबर 1875 को गुजरात के नडियाद में हुआ था। बचपन से ही उनमें नेतृत्व और अनुशासन के गुण थे। उन्होंने अपनी मेहनत और लगन से कानून की पढ़ाई की और बाद में एक सफल वकील बने। लेकिन महात्मा गांधी के राष्ट्रवादी आह्वान ने उनके जीवन की दिशा बदल दी। अहमदाबाद के किसान आंदोलन से शुरू हुई उनकी यात्रा ने उन्हें जल्द ही जननेता बना दिया। उन्होंने किसानों, मजदूरों और आम जनता के अधिकारों के लिए संघर्ष किया और देश को दिखाया कि राजनीति का असली मतलब सेवा है, सत्ता नहीं।

‘लौह पुरुष’ की उपाधि कैसे मिली?

आज़ादी के बाद भारत के सामने सबसे बड़ी चुनौती थी, 562 रियासतों को एक देश में जोड़ना। जहाँ कई रियासतें अलग देश बनने की जिद पर अड़ी थीं, वहीं पटेल ने अपनी रणनीतिक कुशलता और दृढ़ इच्छाशक्ति से “एक भारत” का सपना साकार किया। हैदराबाद, जूनागढ़ और कश्मीर जैसी रियासतों को भारतीय संघ में मिलाना किसी युद्ध से कम नहीं था, लेकिन सरदार पटेल ने इसे बिना बड़े संघर्ष के संभव कर दिखाया। उनकी इसी लोहे जैसी इच्छाशक्ति और स्पष्ट निर्णय क्षमता ने उन्हें "Iron Man of India" की उपाधि दिलाई।

सरदार पटेल की कार्यशैली

सरदार पटेल का जीवन सरल था, परंतु विचार कठोर थे। वे न तो बड़े भाषणों में विश्वास रखते थे, न दिखावे में। उनका मानना था कि राष्ट्र निर्माण शब्दों से नहीं, कर्म से होता है। उनका प्रशासनिक कौशल इतना प्रभावी था कि गांधीजी ने उन्हें “भारत का बिस्मार्क” कहा।

सरदार पटेल के जीवन से जुड़े तथ्य

सरदार पटेल का पूरा नाम वल्लभभाई झावरभाई पटेल था।
उन्हें “सरदार” की उपाधि 1928 में बारडोली सत्याग्रह की सफलता के बाद मिली।
वे भारत के पहले गृह मंत्री और उप प्रधानमंत्री बने।
उन्होंने भारतीय सिविल सर्विस (ICS) को “Indian Administrative Service (IAS)” के रूप में नया रूप दिया।
2018 में उनके सम्मान में बनी Statue of Unity दुनिया की सबसे ऊँची प्रतिमा है, जिसकी माप 182 मीटर है।

The National Sports Day

The National Sports Day in India is celebrated on 29 August every year. It is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand Singh. The day also serves as a reminder for all of us to recall the contributions, determination and extraordinary achievements of the athletes and their influence in shaping societies. The first National Sports Day was celebrated on August 29, 2012 and hence this year marks the 12th anniversary of Rashtriya Khel Divas.

The theme for this year's National Sports Day celebration is "Sports are an enabler to an inclusive and fit society".

History

The roots of India’s National Sports Day can be traced back to the birth of Major Dhyan Chand Singh, one of its most revered sporting legends of India, who went on to become one of the most popular names in the game of hockey. He ruled the world of hockey with his delightful stick work and understanding of the game that earned him the moniker of 'Hockey Wizard' and 'The Magician'.

Born on 29 August 1905 in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, he started off his career with the British Indian Army. His career spanned from 1926 to 1948 and ended as one of the greatest hockey players of all time after having represented India 185 matches and scored over 400 goals during this period. His skills mesmerized the world, guiding India to three consecutive Olympic Hockey gold medals in 1928, 1932, and 1936.

In recognition of his unparalleled contributions to the realm of sports, the Indian Government declared his birthday as National Sports Day in 2012, with the aim to inspire generations to come. This decision was also focused on promoting sports and physical fitness among the people in the country.

Significance

National Sports Day encourages people of all ages to embrace physical fitness. It emphasises the importance of regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle. It also warns against of implications of sedentary lifestyle and related diseases. This day also serves as a catalyst for the development of a robust sports culture in the country. It encourages to participate in various sports and games for holistic personal growth. Sports have the unique power to bring people together regardless of their background, language, or beliefs. National Sports Day showcases this unity.
